Boxes of Mixed Nuts

Dear President,Legals and Decorators;Hello,Once again I have been out looking at the latest Christmas Decor as it arrives slowly taking the place of the Halloween festive wear.Insoired for another occasion of ribbonss and bows and all the latest trends for the Christmas season. This year I decided to choose a plan and decorate it in a modest fashion I thought. After looking through the Fairmont Chateau Whistler I thought of many things and will state that the new mettalic mocha and pewter ideas would be suitable with frosted raindeer on the brick work in the dining area and the lobby area .Large foiled bows with garlands of frosted ivory and mocha swagged to the centre light fixture perhaps in the lobby if it looks similar to the dining area.Frosted or flocked trees plain with twinkling clear lights on the mantle.Outside two large wire frame trees decorated in clear lights with a frosted pewter etched globe with a mocha metallic ribbon on the top.Have an arrangement of two ceramic ivory pots with white pointsettas in them and spray large pinecones with mocha and frost with glitter. The tree in the lobby should reflect elegance and I would choose ivory velvet ribbon about 4 inches thich for garland twisted around the tree and draped with crystal ornaments of sleighs and snow skiers. The top of the tree I would do in a large velvet bow with clear twinkling lights on the tree.Add some cone shaped matallic frosted mocha ornaments and voila you have a picture. The hand paper towels in a pine cone and ribbon effect on paper as the stationary for the festive season. The sale item for the convience shop could be boxes of mixed nuts with a mettaic and ivory velvet ribbon with an ivory and gold or mocha metallic gift card. These are just a few suggestions, sincerely Louise Marica Robertson. Now for the house plan that could be used for any chateau style house-plan #7-5-830 Exterior of the house lighting done with green/blue and clear lights, one every third bulb.On top roofline and lower portions with garage peak and doorway peak in blue lights only.Have 2 wire cone trees by the front porch or small evergreens in pots done in light green lights with frosted white or velvet ribbon bows.Spray snow around base of white or ivory porcelain square pots .Have 2 wire raindeer in the grass area to the right looking at the house one larger than the other,on an angle in clear mini lights. The interior porch area have the same white velvet ribbon bows with plastic frosted cranberries in a clear or light green colour with some cedar boughs on railing. If it is in the country. If it is in the city keep it plain. The interior foyer done in soft blue satin scroll work ribbons on chair in the corner ,a wooden chair or Louis style chair cover.Mirror done in a frosted pewter.Living room-Fireplace have 2 trees done on large styrofoam with metallic blue glass bu;lbs in square frosted or ivory containers. These would be on the harth. For the mantle have snowmen in all sizes and shapes in frosted glass with minature trees.Fireplace should be white or ivory.Dining room chairs have done as entry chair.Christmas tree-Have 4 different decorations for the tree-aqua or light green balls frosted found at Home Again Home Again,Eight light blue balls, metallic.Eight frosted angels, applea, cupids or grapes.Eight bows silver or gold. Two frosted glass ornaments for each side of the top of the tree. One Angel in light blue velvet or ivory/white or Orchestra Conductor, would be something different in light blue velvet as well.Have 4 sets of mini clear lights for the average 6ft. tree.Tree skirt done in light blue velvet with gold silver or frosted white trim.Have dining room table set up with the satin scroll work light blue table cloth and dinner ware with doves and ribbons cascading with a thin blue border striping. In golds blues and a little mocha or taupe colour or light green.Glasses should be crystal -clear colourCentre pieces -Have frosted clear cranberries arranged through the centre of table.Have three Crystal gift boxes about 12 inches high with tops, filled with light blue and light green mini balls with lids on.The centre crystal gift box have larger light blue and light green balls in it with the lid propped against the gift box or on the table.Add some siver or gold leaves with the ornaments in the gift box. Each place setting should have a mini light blue velvet gift bag with a scratch n win a mint or candy cane and a chocolate.Have a scroll work napkin ring over these and attached to cloth satin or cotton napkins in light blue.Have pewter name card holders at each place setting. The lighting above with more light blue velvet ribbons and bows and lighting for evening dining controlled by a dimmer switch on wall.Kitchen area-Afeast of smells in a frosted basket on the island of chocolates and cinnamon twists and cookies in pkg's and mini jams and crackers. Some small bottles of Baily's and Kaluha to this.On the one side of the island on the floor a MR.and MRS.Clause in frosted white/ivory with gold or silver and in the gift bag ,some Christmas wines.Have Holiday scene Christmas place mats in light blues and greens and silver or gold on the table with light blue mugs and serving plates in a porcelain matte finish ,could be an etched Christmas scene on them. The overhead lighting hang frosted cranberries with gift boxes. The hallway have a large arrangement of foiled and bowed faux Christmas gift boxes. The powder room-Soft blue hand towels with Christams scene or white or gold or silver Christmas trees embroidered.Have trim edged blue ribbon on towels and a toy soldier, bell or other Christmas candle holder in an antique look or frosted glass or Christmas tree. The back yard have iron gift boes with bows as I described for the ones I bought on hinges with angles in scrollwork ,lit up with blue and green mini lights ,the bow portion in clear mini lights.Set these by large evergreen trees or in a corner.Have reindeer with clear mini lights also arranged around the centre area of lawn.Hanging from your hooks for hanging baskets ,from eaves,Carolers in antique colours could be painted wooden ,a 3D effect about an inch and a half thick.Base platform about 18 inches wide for standing in the backyard.Hang the Carolers on eaves with fishing twine. The back trim on the house done the same as the front.Have Velvet bows on outdoor square lanters .The family room area which I should have sent before the backyard -Have a small village idea for some places in the city,on a mirror or glass table with iron legs or base. This could be displayed on one wall .If doing an all tree theme they would be frosted and mini evergreens arranged in snow with clear lmini lights woven around on the table .Spray the table with fake snow.I like to use batting without the lights for a snow effect.I would stay with the theme of colour for tapestry on a set of cushions for the sofa or a rustic mocha, light green, light blue satin, plaid. The tree in the family room done in ascattered arrangement of the same coloured bows and gold or silver ribbon or pearls.A glass metallic ornament or bow at the top of the tree.Tree skirt to match cushions. The fireplace if it is painted a wedgewood or softer blue,I would decorate with cedar boughs in a swag with white doves and light blue satin ribbon running through with bows at each endin Light blue velvet.Keep things a little more simple by creating a theme of one idea throughout the house such as toy soldiers, bells, trees, snowmen, angels or cherubs. This colour scheme could be done with blue and red for an American look,Pinks and mauves for a more feminine look, blue and grapes for elegance ,ivory and white with pastel colours for an elegant look.Russet, moss green and metallics for a country lodge appeal or silver and gold with frosted glass for an Estate or Palace decor. If you make a list ,it is a little less expensive than picking up a lot of things that say Christmas, that clutter.Sincerely Louise Marica Robertson.
