Hello,another sunny day in White Rock and I should be out playing tennis but decided not a lot will get accomplished from my decor venu if I don't set out to accomplish the list before I enjoy the summer.This week basically with thoughts of Crescent Beach area I thought this may go over well in Cannes or along the Mediterranean Coast or even in the Country Market in St.Lucia.The design for the exterior of the building I would keep as a basic square building with large grid patterned windows facing the street and clear windows facing a beach view.Exterior colours from Benjamin Moore in Timothy Straw with trim in Bristol Bloue.A 36 inch high brick work wall around the bottom in Cortes with a slanted ledge in Bristol Blue 2X10 WIDTH.Roofing in shakes or grey ashfalt.Interior colours -almond bisque with a swirl of blue heron with a light captain of the sea scene or scroll work on walls or just use the blue heron colour for more of a modern retro ambiance.Use this also for accents on padded valances or chair fabric with a gold netted pattern in metalic on blue texture.Flooring done in golden sky tile from Armstrong flooring with gold grid work , hardwood done in dover oakIf going with a modern sea side appeal use stainless steel or pewter tables with mosaic back chairs .Mosaic done in grid pattern 12 in width x 18 inches in length,stainless steel rails with textured fabric or seats.Mosaic top should have a gold mortar or fabric or you may try using vinyl in slats of Dover Oak for appeal.Lounge area-Use softer shades of blue heron for a newport type bench with the same fabric as chairs and cashier station.Accent with gold railing with oyster shell rings or brass rope type rings.Ceiling lights have as pot lights around the perimeter of room with central flooring area done with a lucite light bars done with rounded corners in a square design.the same rings as the cashier desk area.Have dark ceiling done in the heron blue with a crown moulding about 10 inches

Another busy day and the weather is not in our favour for a golf weekend

Dear President,Construction,Legals and Decorators;Hello,another busy day and the weather is not in our favour for a golf weekend ,so get out the home improvement list and get the jobs done for those sunny days ahead.Today I am going to continue with the Decor ideas for that first home I designed.Kitchen-exchange with living room area have wall extend from end of stairway about 3 ft..Have island in centre and cabinets from stairway wall around to corner by door,remove short windows on back top floor.Have pantry in wood and frosted glass on the end of stairway wall. Round the cabinet and corners on an angle with shelves and have fridge a 3ft.space.Range with range hood in stainless and sink on an angle in corner by window,have 4 stools at bar area,a win e rack on left side to diningroom on island.Have table in any type of wood by windows in corner,oval table or rectangle.Arm chairs at ends,straight top chairs with wood legs,cushions , placemats and napkins in a crinkle light leaf pattern,ferns would look great,as cushions on bar stools,white on cream background one loveseat in front of fireplace or two regular square arm chairs on an angle in a caramel russet leather or pleather.Set of nesting tables in square glass iron frame brown or golden.Dining room-Large round table in pecan wood or pine,Parson chairs-6 done in a swiss dot ,white or cream on Mount Saint Anne colour fabric.Solid coloured place mats and napkins in ivory pressed flower motif on it with white dinnerware with gold or green edging.Wedgewood china or dogwood pattern,Royal Albert would look great.Area rug in lilly of the valley pattern,rectangle or round,greens and whites.Silouettes or Duettes 2 and a half inch pleated blind in wall colour or white.Living room area-Sectional in corner in modern design of flowers emboossed in fabric or outline of white or ivory on watercolour fabric.Cushions in a pleated satin in watercolour.Oval table in front painted antique ivory with pewter or Mount Saint Anne .TV and entertainment stand in pine on right wall.

Interior Decorating

Dear President,Construction,Legals,and Decorators;Hello,It has been a few weeks since I last sent an e-mail of work to do.For some that was a relief,for others what is new,is always on the minds of those in the interior decorating and building business.For this week I have two projects to forward one is a Resteraunt makeover and the other is a show home or lottery home.I will begin with the resteraunt,taken from a plan book idea Jenish 33rd edition Plan #14-0-258 taken from the back of the book in the garage section and guest houses.Exterior changes.Have centre door as full windows done with black or ivory grid work bars.Round the corner mouldings with cement.Large crown moulding roofline done in scalloped ocean view idea or plain city centre.The left side have all the same windows with both,have a 3ft.brickwork with cap ledge ,extend this window for a deeper window ledge by 3-5 ft. with benches and table in interior area.Have full windows square on both sides to 2 ft. from end wall the same for front.Have right side with double glass doors in grid work to match windows.Light fixtures as pot lights in front.Hang sign of resteraunt name in signature writing in front of centre window.Layout for interior-Have desk for lobby on right wall in square post,panelled front drop counter for till,seating colour of wood to be woodplank Karndean RP73 Kenyan Tigerwood.Formica counter top in Canyon Passage 1842 -45.Have 4 posts to ceiling done in Canyon Passage with wood baseboard and crown moulding in new fawn for exterior trim,Spiced rum for interior.Hardwood floor done in wood sections double plank around the roomwith tile in diamond shape or square with the same colour grout.Have back section left for kitchen with the walk in fridge in corner ,stainless counter on left with bowls upper portion,pots and pans lower section etc.Hanging on wall grid rack .Back wall area for sinks and dishwasher ,take out the window,shelving above for storage of trays ,food items.Pantry open shelf where window area is with supplies of food.
